Wow it's been over a year since I have taken the time to chat...I have so much to say and so much to talk about. Let's see, where do I start?
Ok so last year I started school to complete a second Master's Degree and after my first term, I spent six weeks out on the road with my husband. That was an incredible tour of 30 states, and I got to spend a day in Nashville, so exciting for me!!
We travelled and had a great time seeing so many things, and to my surprise we went under the ocean. We visited the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, in Virginia. I am still at a loss for words, I was excited and fearful at the same time, but all in all it was so much fun! Did you know that there are tunnels that you drive deep down under the sea for about a mile and then you come back up to a bridge? We must of went under and over 4 times, each about a mile, across the Bay, it was very intense.
The beauty of America is absolutely breath-taking...I didn't want to miss anything. The back country roads were peaceful and the Big cities were a sight to see. Pennsylvania and upsate New York were so beautiful, Connecticut and Maryland, were so green, and the Rocky Mountains were Amazing! We drove by Graceland in Tennessee, and stayed at the Harrah's Tunica in Mississippi. Louisville Kentucky had so much to see as we drove through, and St Louis was just as busy as Louisville that I couldn't take it all in. Chicago, Illinois and the Bronx in New York were crowded and fast. Nebraska was filled with rolling hills and a lot of Cattle, and Idaho was simply gorgeous.
I could go on and on through the 30 states I travelled through, but I think you got the picture. God truly has blessed America from Sea to Shining Sea.
Well, when I returned home from my six-week travels on an 18 wheeler, I had to jump right back into school. We also managed to take a Cruise in October for a week and had an Amazing time four 4 days to Ensenada, Mexica and Catalina Island. I ended up breaking my left ankle and took a term off through the winter.
Thanksgiving was fun and full of Turkey and Christmas came upon us and left so fast. We spent Christmas in California with my sister Karen and her family. The holidays, like always were blessed and beautiful. Eric and I came home early Christmas morning and slept in. We had a nice Christmas lunch and went to Pinetop Arizona to play in the snow. Boy did we find some snow! I had so much fun! We went to Las Vegas and saw the Nutcracker, it was Awsome, and then we enjoyed our stay at Harrah's. The New Year was a happy one. We drove home from Vegas New Year's Eve and made it back in time to see the New Year in at Harrah's in Arizona. Great times seeing 2011 out and winning $1000 after the New Year horns sounded.
Back online with USC in January and I plugged away at completing the semster in June. Backing up a bit I spent a wonderful week in Hot Springs Arkansas with my daughter, Moncia. My suite was on Lake Hamilton - It was beautiful! Through July, I opened an office in Ontario California and have been busy with work from California since. Back and forth gets to be a pain sometimes though.
Jennifer was back to school the second week of August and I worked around my home to clean out closets, refrigerators, book shelves, and any clutter that had developed through my busy year. I kept my position as Cheer Booster Secretary until the end of August, when I realized I didn't want to work with those women on the Booster board anymore. They are so controlling and so difficult to work with, it actually made me ask myself, "Why am I here?" I hated working with such an unorganized bunch of women. So I resigned and found another venture.
LV Life - What an incredible opportunity!! Since this is where I am today, I will write all about LV Life in my next blog post. This incredible opportunity has changed my life! I didn't start back to school in September, as I only have two more classes to take to complete my Masters, and so I decided that I would work on Le-vel Life and make this opportunity work for me.
So as you can see, I have had a busy year, but that doesn't stop me from carrying on towards more busyness, or shall I say business. I love being an Entrepreneur! I am so blessed to be able to set my own schedules and live my own life!
Well until next time, keep cool, stay busy and take care of you!
Hugs,
Pamy
